How to Add An Application to Cloudways Autonomous

Adding an application to your Cloudways Autonomous plan is quick and simple.

Whether you are launching your first app or adding more later, this guide will walk you through each step in an easy-to-understand way.

Important Notes to Know Before you Learn How to Add an Application to Cloudways Autonomous

Please keep these points in mind before adding an application:

  • Each plan supports only one application.

  • You can have multiple plans under the same Cloudways account (there is no limit).

  • Adding a new application subscribes you to another plan, and billing will apply for every plan you activate.

Note:

First, you will need to log in your Cloudways Platform account. After you have done that, you need to click on Cloudways Autonomous, which is on the left side tab.

Add Your First Application

Add your first application by following these steps:

Step #1 - Select Your Plan:

  1. Select your application type (for example, WordPress).

  2. Choose any of the available plans for that app type.

  3. If you have larger requirements or need premium support, select an Enterprise plan.

Step #2 - Set Up Application Details:

  1. Enter your Application Name.

  2. Select your Application Region.

  3. (Optional) Add your Custom Domain.

  4. Review your selected details on the right side.

  5. Click Launch Application to begin.

Step #3 - Application Launching:

Your application will now begin launching. This process usually completes in about 3 minutes, and then your app will be ready to use.

Once your application is launched, you will have a view like the following:

Add Another Application

If you want to add another application, follow these steps:

Step #1 - Add Application:

Click on Add Application from your dashboard.

Step #2 - Choose a New Plan and App Type:

You can add as many applications as you want to your account. For each new application, simply select your preferred plan and app type. You may choose the same plan as before or a different one — whichever fits your needs best.

Step #3 - Set Up Application Details:

  1. Enter your Application Name.

  2. Select your Application Region.

  3. (Optional) Attach a Custom Domain.

  4. Review your settings.

  5. Click Launch Application.

Step #4 - Application Launching:

Your second application will also launch in a few minutes and will become visible on your dashboard once it is ready (In around 3 minutes).
