Important Information Before You Begin
Before you start recovering your application, please keep these important points in mind:
Each plan includes one and only one application.
You can have multiple plans under a single Cloudways account — there’s no limit to how many apps you can create overall.
Adding a new application will automatically subscribe you to a new plan, and it will be billed accordingly.
Recovering an application restores it under the same plan from which it was deleted, and the plan subscription resumes with regular billing charges.
Note: Application recovery is available only for users who signed up after November 11, 2025.
Step #1 - Head to Recover Application:
Log in to your Cloudways Autonomous account.
Navigate to your Applications section.
Click on Recover Application from the sidebar or top navigation bar.
Here, you’ll see a list of all removed applications that are available for recovery. Each entry displays basic details such as the application name, plan type, and date of removal.
Tip: You can review this list to ensure you are recovering the correct application.
Step #2 - Recover Application:
Locate the application you want to recover from the list.
Click the Recover button next to that application.
Once clicked, Cloudways will initiate the recovery process. Your application will be restored back to its original configuration and environment.
Step #3 - Confirm the Recovery:
A confirmation screen will appear.
Review the details — this will show the plan name, application name, and billing information.
Click Confirm to proceed.
Your application will now be successfully recovered to the same plan it was deleted from. The plan subscription will automatically resume, and billing will continue as per your selected plan’s charges.
Important: Make sure to confirm only if you want the plan to restart, as this action resumes billing immediately.
