Upgrading takes only a few minutes and ensures that your applications and servers remain active after the trial period ends.

Trial Experience and Account Upgrade
Cloudways offers a 3-day free trial without requiring a credit card, allowing you to explore the platform with countless features, before making any commitment.
During the trial, you can launch a server, deploy an application, or migrate your existing website to see how Cloudways performs for your needs.
When you’re ready to continue beyond the trial, you can easily upgrade your account to a Full Account.
To complete this upgrade, simply add a valid credit or debit card for verification and future billing.
A small pre-authorization charge between $1 and $10 (depending on your region) may apply, which is held temporarily by the payment processor and is automatically reversed once the attempt is successful.
Important
Cloudways is a Pay-as-You-Go service, so you pay only for the resources you consume. You will be invoiced for the services used in any given month at the start of the next month. Learn more about how does the Cloudways Payment System work.
You will not be charged anything today if you upgrade your account as we charge in arrears.
How to Upgrade the Cloudways Account from Trial to Full
Here are a few simple steps to demonstrate the process of upgrading the Cloudways Trial Account to a Full Account.
Step #1 — Navigate to Account:
Log in to your Cloudways Platform using your email address and password.
Click on your profile icon (top-right corner).
From the dropdown, click Billing.
Step #2 — Go to Settings Tab:
On the Billing page, you'll see four tabs: Overview, Billing History, Credits & Discounts, and Settings.
Click on Settings.
Under the “Payment Method” section, click on Add Payment Method.
Step #3 - Add Your Payment Method:
In the popup, choose between Credit/Debit Card.
Fill in your card details, billing address, and other required information.
Click Add Payment Method to proceed.
Your account will be upgraded automatically once the payment method is verified.
