The process is quick and straightforward — simply access your Billing section on the Cloudways Platform, select the desired invoice, and download it instantly.
Whether you require them for accounting purposes, reimbursement claims, or personal record-keeping, this guide will walk you through the simple steps to locate and download your invoices using the latest Cloudways interface.
How to Download Invoices in PDF or CSV Format?
Follow the steps below to download invoice on the Cloudways Platform.
Go to the Cloudways Platform and sign in using your registered email address and password.
The steps may vary slightly depending on the interface you're using. Please follow the instructions for either the New Billing Interface or the Classical Interface below, depending on what you are using.
If you're using the Unified Cloudways billing experience, follow these steps:
Step #1:
Log in to your Cloudways account.
Click on your profile icon (top-right corner) and select Billing from the dropdown menu.
Step #2:
On the Billing page, click the Billing History tab to view all your transactions and invoices.
Step #3:
In the Billing History list, locate the invoice for the required month.
Click the three dots (ellipsis menu) next to the invoice entry.
Click ‘Download PDF’ or ‘Download CSV’.
In this example, we are downloading it in PDF format, but you can also download it in CSV format.
Step #4:
Open the downloaded PDF file (Or CSV) to review your billing details. It will look like the following sample invoice.
Step #5:
If you want to download invoices from the older billing system, click View Old Billing History on the Billing History page.
Step #6:
By clicking on ‘View Old Billing History’, you can view your old Invoices and Funds History as shown below.
Click on the ID to download PDF for the old invoices.
Classical Interface - Downloading Invoices in PDF Format:
If you are still using Classical Interface, follow the steps below.
Step #1:
On your Cloudways dashboard, open the Account menu by going to the top-right corner and click on the user icon next to the search bar.
This will open a dropdown menu, click on ‘Account’.
Step #2:
On the left sidebar of the Account page, click on the “Billing” tab (just below “Account”).
Step #3:
You’ll see a message indicating that billing has been moved to the unified billing experience.
Now, click on the “GO TO BILLING” button to access the new billing interface.
From this point, you’ll be redirected to the Unified Billing Interface.
Please continue from Step #2 under the New Billing Interface section of this article to download your invoice.
Resolving Payment Issues
If you encounter issues with unpaid invoices, such as insufficient card balance or other payment errors, ensure that your payment method is updated. You can also use alternative payment options like PayPal or add funds to your account to clear the invoice.
