How to Use CDNs with Breeze WordPress Cache?

You can easily integrate a CDN with Breeze by adding the CDN’s CNAME (asset URL) in the CDN settings.

Breeze works seamlessly with Pull CDNs like Cloudflare, MaxCDN, KeyCDN, and Amazon CloudFront

Pull CDNs

Breeze – WordPress Cache plugin is compatible with all CDNs that provide a Pull Zone. These are also known as Pull CDNs. A Pull Zone will pull files from your website on its own as and when needed.

In the case of Pull CDNs, content is left on the server by the webmaster who rewrites their URLs in order to point to the CDN. When a certain file is requested, the CDN initially pulls static files from the original server and serves them. That static files are cached by the CDN until expiry.

Setting up Pull CDNs via Breeze WordPress Cache Plugin is quite simple. In most cases, you just need to add the CDN’s asset-based URL, otherwise known as CNAME, in Breeze’s CDN CNAME field and activate the CDN.

Push CDNs

Breeze WordPress Cache does not support Push CDNs. With Push CDNs, you can push all your website’s static content to the CDN ahead of time. This way, all your content is available on the CDN servers at all times.

If you decide to use a Push CDN, you will require an additional plugin to send your content. For example, Amazon CloudFront can also be used as a Push CDN. In that case, you can use the WP Offload S3 Lite plugin to automatically upload your static content to CloudFront.
